Sandbox scenario · SN015
Sale of mobile phones
Mobile phones have their own sale type with tax that varies by handset value band. Notably this scenario sits in the baseline set assigned to almost every activity and sector, not just to electronics retailers — so most integrations have to clear it whether or not they ever sell a phone.

What gets SN015 rejected
- 01
Part of the baseline set for nearly every profile. You must clear it in the sandbox even if you never sell handsets in production.
- 02
Tax depends on the handset value band, so the rate is not a single fixed percentage.
- 03
Use the HS code for the specific handset category rather than a generic electronics code.
