Common questions
Will you work on software your team did not build?
Yes, provided you can supply the source code and reasonable access to the environment. We assess it first and tell you what is realistically changeable and what is not.
What happens to our source code after the work?
It is handled under confidentiality throughout and deleted from our systems once the requested customisations or updates are delivered. Your intellectual property does not stay on our machines.
What if our existing system is too old to extend?
Then we say so. Sometimes the honest answer is a rebuild, and sometimes it is a wrapper — a modern interface or integration over a working core. We give you the assessment and the reasoning, not just a quotation.
Can you add FBR digital invoicing to our current system?
Often yes — either by integrating our FBR Iris Digital Invoicing System alongside what you run, or by building the compliant invoicing path into your existing software where its architecture allows.
Our original developer disappeared. Can you take over?
This is one of the most common reasons clients arrive here. With the source code and database access we can take over maintenance, document what exists, and get you out of the position of depending on one unreachable person.
Do you sign NDAs?
Yes, as standard. Your processes, data, code and plans stay yours. We publish no client documents, figures or screenshots, and if you would rather your company name did not appear on our client register, it will not.
