Service · Software Product Development

Software products you own outright — and can sell under your own name

Some clients do not want a system; they want a product. Linksoft builds software as an asset you own — source code and database schema handed over, engineered and documented so you can white-label it, sell it, and support it as your own.

What's included

01

Full source code and schema handover

The complete codebase and database schema become yours on delivery — not a licence, not a hosted account you rent.

02

White-label from the start

Branding, naming and configuration are separated from the logic, so the product carries your identity rather than ours anywhere it is sold.

03

Documentation a second team can use

Technical documentation and user manuals written so another developer — or your own hires — can take the product forward without us.

04

Multi-tenant where you need it

If you intend to sell the product to many customers, it is engineered for that from the first line: tenant isolation, per-customer configuration, and row-level security enforced in the database.

Who this is for

This engagement suits businesses whose plan for the software extends beyond using it:

  • 01 Entrepreneurs and agencies who want a product to sell under their own brand
  • 02 Companies that require full ownership of their intellectual property for investment, audit or strategic reasons
  • 03 Businesses whose internal system turned out to solve a problem their whole industry has
  • 04 Organisations that want the freedom to change developers without changing systems

The engagement

How the work runs

The sequence is fixed because it works; the content of every step is shaped to your business.

  1. 01

    Scope

We establish the product, its market and what ownership must include — including resale rights.

  2. 02

    Specify

Architecture, modules and handover deliverables agreed in writing before development.

  3. 03

    Build

Built to be handed over: readable code, sane structure, documented decisions.

  4. 04

    Handover

Source, schema, deployment configuration and documentation transferred, with a walkthrough for your technical people.

  5. 05

    Support

Optional continuing support, or a clean separation — your choice, agreed up front.

Why a Karachi software house

Building software you will own means paying for engineering, not for a subscription. Pakistani rates make a full custom product achievable at a fraction of what the same asset costs elsewhere — and Linksoft has been building products, not one-off scripts, since 1998, with systems from that era still in production.

The delivery stack

TypeScript + React application front-ends, mobile-ready by default
PostgreSQL / Supabase data layer with row- and column-level security
Edge-delivered cloud served from the node nearest each user
Cloud or on-premise office, factory floor, or offline-only where needed
Since 1998 from Visual FoxPro desktop systems to today's cloud stack

Common questions

Do we really own the source code?

Yes. On a build-to-own engagement the source code and database schema are transferred to you on delivery, and the ownership terms are written into the agreement before work begins rather than negotiated afterwards.

Can we sell the software under our own brand?

Yes — that is what the white-label arrangement is for. The product is built with branding and configuration separated from the logic, so it carries your name wherever you sell it.

Will Linksoft sell the same product to our competitors?

Not where the agreement says otherwise. Exclusivity and reuse rights are agreed in writing at the outset, and generic building blocks are distinguished from what is genuinely yours before anyone signs.

What happens if we want to change developers later?

You can. That is the practical value of a real handover: the source, the schema and the documentation are yours, written to be picked up by another team. We would rather be kept than needed.

Can you build a product designed to be sold to many customers?

Yes. Multi-tenant products are engineered for it from the start — tenant isolation, per-customer configuration and database-enforced row-level security, so one customer's data can never surface in another's account.

How is a product build different from a custom system?

A system is built for one operation; a product is built for many, which changes the architecture, the configurability and the documentation standard. We tell you at scoping which one your plan actually requires.

Tell us what you need built.

We listen, ask questions, and tell you honestly whether custom software is the right answer — before any commitment.
