Sandbox scenario · SN002
Goods at standard rate, sold to an unregistered buyer
The same standard-rate sale, but the buyer has no sales tax registration. The sale type is identical to SN001 — what changes is buyerRegistrationType, and the further tax that typically attaches when the buyer is not registered. FBR tests both directions because getting the registration type wrong is the single most common integration mistake.
What to send
These strings are matched by FBR's API. Send them exactly as published — including any irregular spacing or punctuation, which is deliberate and not a typo.

scenarioId is sandbox-only. It is required on sandbox submissions and must be omitted from production invoices — FBR derives the treatment from the sale type once you are live.

What gets SN002 rejected
- 01
buyerRegistrationType must read Unregistered. Error 0012 rejects a missing value and 0053 rejects an invalid one.
- 02
Buyer province and address stay required even though the buyer registration number is optional here.
- 03
Use the Get_Reg_Type lookup before submitting rather than guessing — a buyer you assume is unregistered may have registered since you last invoiced them.
You should not have to hand-type SN002
We are building a free FBR digital invoicing app that works out which scenarios your profile needs, fills them in, shows you exactly what will be sent, and submits them to the sandbox on one button. Tell us if you want it.
